A deliberately caused crisis?

I have written previously about the current onslaught of children and young adults on the United States’ Southern Border.

It is my opinion President Obama caused the crises by his actions two years ago, and knew what would be the result.

“On June 15, 2012, President Obama issued a memo calling for pro-active deferral of deportation for certain young people who were brought to the U.S. as children.  The executive order, known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or DACA, allows children who meet specific criteria to apply for a type of permission to be in the United States for two-years.  While it is not a path to permanent residency or citizenship, if the applicant is accepted, he or she can get a Social Security number, and Employment Authorization Card, and obtain a Driver’s License—depending on the state.” [Source: Deferred Action for Children ]

Did the President deliberately issue his version of the failed “Dream Act” in this Executive Order? Based upon his past actions or in-actions with regard to U.S. law, it is my opinion his Executive Order was intentional, an attempt to further his personal world views, while skirting Congress.

Furthermore, federal agencies were fully aware of the coming onslaught of the southern border, according to The Blaze:

“A recently discovered government request for “escort services for unaccompanied alien children” dating back to January is raising questions about whether the government was planning for a surge of illegal immigrants this year as amnesty talks heated up in the United States. The request specifically says it was preparing for 65,000 undocumented children. The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed the request to TheBlaze, which is for transportation companies to escort children from the U.S.-Mexico border to relocation facilities throughout the United States.”  [Source: The Blaze]

Now, as the crisis enters a new phase, The President has urged more than $3 Billion to provide housing, healthcare, food, and more to children smuggled here. Notwithstanding these children were abused by those who guided or spirited them here, the diseases they may carry could spread into the nation as a whole.

Apparently, the President may have expected compassionate Americans to wither in the face of demonstrators. However, can American withstand what is expected to become more than 100,000  or 200,000 children? And, what about the evil folks who will enter the U.S. unscathed as Border Patrol agents are occupied by processing so many children?

In my view, the immigration laws cannot be changed or altered in any way until the borders are secured or closed FIRST. The United States cannot be the Nanny for every God-forsaken waif who tumbles onto our soil.

How about some common sense enforcement FIRST, and insistence the President of the United States adhere to his Oath of Office, something, in my opinion, he has yet to do. — D C “Dan” Lee, Danny Boy Stories
